Douglas Phillips

Douglas Wayne Phillips, 47, passed away on April 18, 2016. He was born on September 30, 1968 in Lawton Oklahoma. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He married Tammy Wise on March 29, 2013 in Las Vegas. He was a Baptist and worked as a Narcotics Investigator for the District Attorney Canine Unit. Douglas was a big fisherman and hunter. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Phillips. He is survived by his wife, Tammy (Wise) Phillips; 6 children, Jason Hamilton, Jennifer Chandler, Cory Knapp, Alexis White, Seth Phillips, Gunner Phillips; parents, Kay and Emma Thornton; 2 sisters, Amy Thornton and Emily Thornton; and brother, Tryon Phillips; grandchildren, Alexis Weeks, Noah Weeks, Isabel Weeks, Jacob Hamilton and Briana Hamilton; and numerous aunts and uncles. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel.
