Doris Hudson

Doris Lavice (Gregory) Hudson, of Skidmore, 81, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2018. Mrs. Hudson was born in San Antonio, Texas, on July 1, 1936, to the late Farris and Mildred (Culver) Gregory. She married Hugh A. Hudson on June 3, 1954, in San Perlita, Texas. She was a devout member of First Baptist Church of Skidmore. She will be greatly missed by her family who knew her as "Mom," "Grandma," "MawMaw," "GiGi" and "GiGimo."
She is survived by three sons, Jimmy (Lori) Hudson, George (Frances) Hudson and Darryl (Tonia) Hudson, all of Skidmore; two daughters, Sharon (Richard) West and Pamela Hudson, both of Skidmore; 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Carolyn; and 2 brothers, Floyd Gregory and Dale Wayne Gregory.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Hudson, Brad Hudson, Allen Hudson, Jeffery Hudson, Mark Hudson and Gregory Hudson. Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Crawford, Jr. and Cholden Hugh Alcorta.
