Donald Smith

Donald Ray Smith, 62, of Beeville, Texas passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021, in a San Antonio hospital.

Donald was born April 8, 1959 in San Antonio to John Richard Smith and Mary Ella (Anderson) Smith. He was a graduate of Stockdale High School in Stockdale, Texas, and was employed as a lube technician and oil mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Richard Smith and Mary Ella Taubert; brothers, James Ivey, Richard Smith and Sammy Smith; and a sister, Lorraine Tanner.

Survivors include his daughters, Meagan Smith and Amber Smith; his stepfather, Ralph Taubert; sister, Mary (Charles) Welch; girlfriend, Karen Makowitch; four grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews and great- and great-great nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.
