Daniel B. Hadamek, 90, passed away in the comfort of his home in Beeville, Texas on Sunday, July 4, 2021, surrounded by his beloved family.

Mr. Hadamek was born September 9, 1930 in George West to Henry Hadamek and Mary (Pawlik) Hadamek. He attended Texas A&I University in Kingsville prior to being drafted into the U.S. Army. On November 2, 1956, he married the love of his life, Geraldine “Jerri” Ehrig, at First Methodist Chapel in Austin. As an operator in the oil and gas industry, Mr. Hadamek was employed with Duke Energy and Trunkline Gas for numerous years. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church and a devoted believer in his faithful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was devoted to his family and always loved his adventures with his daughters and their husbands, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed tending to his cattle, working in his yard and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mary Hadamek; sisters, Bertha Dworaczyk, Vera Baker, Elsie Allen and Celia Steffens; and brothers, Frank Hadamek, Joe Hadamek and Dave Hadamek.

Left behind to cherish fond memories include his wife of 64 years, Jerri Hadamek of Beeville; two daughters, Danette (Rodney) Ginn of Tilden and Gerrie Ann (Bob) Knoll of New Braunfels; a brother, John (Sylvia) Hadamek of San Angelo, Texas; four grandchildren, Keleigh (Charlie) Tuttle of Goliad, Kristi M. (Richard) Ryan of Three Rivers, Kristin L. Knoll of New Braunfels and Daniel X. Knoll of Los Angeles, California; five great-grandchildren, Allie Tuttle, Avrie Tuttle, Andie Tuttle, Rylee Ryan and Rhett Ryan; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 23, at First Baptist Church in Beeville with Rev. Greg Traylor officiating.
