Cynthia Leigh (Hale) Shaver, 69, a cherished mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2026, in Beeville, Texas. She was born on August 11, 1956, in Aransas Pass, Texas to Emmitt William Hale Jr. and Lucia (DeLieto) Hale.
A graduate of Aransas Pass High School, Cynthia embraced the role of being a housewife with devotion, nurturing her family and creating a warm home filled with love and creativity. She was a devoted member of the Aransas Pass Methodist Church, where her faith as a Methodist was a cornerstone of her life.
Cynthia found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She delighted in participating in arts and crafts alongside her friends and family, fostering connections through shared creativity. She took great pride and joy in her role as a grandmother, always present to support her grandchildren at their sporting events.
She is proceeded in death by her devoted parents, who played a meaningful role in shaping her life.
Cynthia's legacy is lovingly survived by her children, Jeana (Adrian) Grunden and Dustin Shaver; her beloved grandchildren, Taylor and Leland Grunden; her sister, Lucy Lynn Murphy; and her cousin, Cathy Hale, along with Cathy’s four children and their grandchildren. She is also remembered fondly by a host of other relatives and friends who were touched by her kindness and generosity.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home in Beeville, Texas, followed by a Celebration of Life from 5 to 6 p.m.
Cynthia Leigh Shaver’s enduring spirit and boundless love will remain forever etched in the hearts of all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, creativity, and unwavering devotion to her family and faith.
