Clyde Bing Swafford, known to all as Bing, was born December 20, 1979 in Beeville, Texas. He died at the age of 46 on August 17, 2026. Bing resided in Beeville, Texas with his mother Jeanette Price Swafford.

Bing was born with Cerebral Palsy and thus had many challenges throughout his life. Through everything he was a happy individual who enjoyed life. Some of his favorite pastimes was listening to music, watching movies, and loved playing in water. Bing’s favorite times were spent being with family.

Bing lived in Beeville until his family moved to Missouri, then in 1984 the family moved back to Beeville, then to Bastrop, Rockport, and then the majority of his life was in Corpus Christi, Texas. In 2016, he moved back to Beeville with his mother and brother. During this journey Bing had many wonderful teachers, in Rockport, he had hippotherapy, and in Corpus at the Mary Grett Memorial School, he enjoyed learning but he really enjoyed the physical therapy while swimming. Bing’s best friend was his brother Frank (Nappy).

Bing will be truly missed by his mother Jeanette Price Swafford, father Ronald Dean Swafford (Mary), and his sister Amanda Swafford. He will also be missed by his Uncle Elden Price (Kay), Aunt Becky Williams, Uncle Terre Price (Marshall Grimes), Uncle Donald Swafford (Sherrie), Aunt Lydia Schlabach (Lynwood), and Aunt Sue Shaw. Lovingly missing him are numerous cousins on both sides of the family along with many friends. Preceding him in death is his brother Napolean Frank Swafford, grandparents Henry and Joan Price, Helen Hobbs, and Gene and Kay Swafford, aunt Debbie Kirbow, and cousin Matt Swafford.

Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be conducted in the chapel at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home at 10 a.m., Friday, August 21, 2026.

Interment will follow at Beeville Memorial Park Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brad Schlabach, Duane Price, Ryan Royal, Shane Saxton, Matt Gilbreath, Brandon Bejarano, Jacob Fernandez and John Gandy.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Kroen, Tori Montez and Mark Montez.
