Clayton “Clay” Charles Myers, 64, of Refugio, Texas, passed away December 27, 2025.
Clay was born on October 15, 1961, in Beeville, Texas, to William Amos “Bill” Myers III and Sara Nan (Gray) Myers. He was the youngest of four brothers and spent his childhood growing up on the family ranch in Blanconia, Texas. Clay attended Beeville ISD and later moved to Refugio. In Refugio, Clay lived with his family and worked for Fesco Ltd. for 27 years. Clay will be remembered for his good-natured manner, humor and love of the Frio River.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, John Myers and Michael Myers.
Survivors include his daughter, Madeline (Timothy) Flosi; his granddaughters, Willa and Lucille; a brother, Roger (Suzanne) Myers; two nieces and one nephew; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Friday, January 9, 2026, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home in Beeville.
The funeral service will be conducted in the chapel at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 10, 2026, with Pastor David Parks officiating. Burial will follow at the Blanconia Cemetery in Blanconia, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Monte Sternadel, Dustin Myers, Ray McGuill, Jack Henning, Corey Schneider, Timothy Flosi and Andrew McGuill.
