Charles White

Charles David White, 78, of Beeville, Texas, passed away Monday, August 24, 2020, in a Corpus Christi hospital.

Charles was born April 15, 1942 in San Antonio to David L. and Marie Estelle (Champion) White. He was a sales representative in the lumber and hardware business and was a member of the Optimist Club of Beeville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David L. and Marie Estelle White; his wife, Barbara Phillips-White; and a sister, Marie Leona White Littlehale.

Survivors include daughters, Cindi Phillips (Larry) Eissler and Doris Phillips (Johnny) Garcia (who recently passed away September 15, 2020); two sons, Sean (Kathy) Phillips and Patrick Phillips; a brother, Albert W. (Paula Inez) White; granddaughters, Amy Eissler and Erica Eissler-Heacox; grandsons, Brad Heacox and Nathan, Juan, Marcos and Jonathan Garcia; great-grandsons, Robert and Hunter Heacox, Chris Villarreal, Alex Barraza and Donovan, Bashton, Jaxson and Zayden Garcia; great-granddaughters, Dani Barraza, Carleigh Ellwood and Makayla, Evolit and Naya Garcia; great-great-grandson, Xander Barraza; great-great-granddaughter, Mavis Barraza; brother-in-law, Charles (Edna) Sheeran; nephews, Bob (Joan) Littlehale, Todd (Sandra) Littlehale, Brian Littlehale, Nevin Littlehale and Christopher Cano; nieces, Katherine Marie (Hiroshi) Oki, Mary Ann (Mike) Ashley and Cecilia (Richard) Smith; great-nephews, Julian and Ian Littlehale, Zachary Littlehale, Michael Ashley Jr. and Brandon (Selina) Ashley; great-niece, Alexandria Littlehale; great-great-nieces, Lily Marie Oki and Oriana and Aneleh Ashley; and great-great-nephew, Brandon Ashley Jr.

A Rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. Friday, September 25, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Beeville followed by a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. with Father Richard Gonzales officiating. A private family burial will follow.
