Charlene Maupin

Charlene Betty (Woelfel ) Maupin, 86, a lifelong resident of Live Oak County, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018, lovingly surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Maupin was born February 12, 1932 in Live Oak County to Walter Eric Woelfel and Sally Meta Jatzlau Woelfel. She married Harold Maupin on March 4, 1952 in Three Rivers and was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church.
Charlene was employed with the U.S. Postal Service and the banking industry and retired from Charlene's Boutique.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Sally Woelfel; her husband, Harold Maupin; and a brother, Eugene Woelfel.
Charlene is survived by her daughter, Sandy (Phillip) Ballard of Three Rivers; her son, Randy (Julie) Maupin of Three Rivers; and a sister, Darlene Goebel of Three Rivers.
She is also blessed with grandchildren Nicole (Gabriel) Herrera, Lance (Maren) Calloway, Taylor Ballard, James Ryan (Julia) Kennedy, Levi James Kennedy, Addison Kennedy, Grace Kennedy of Kansas City, Lauryn (John) Bolland, Madelyn Elizabeth and Charlotte Kathryn, Randi (Cuatro Fredrick) Schauer; and great-grandchildren, Emilee Ulke, Taylan Ulke, Adelle Calloway and Nara Calloway.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Three Rivers with a prayer service at 7 o'clock that evening.
The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018, at Our Savior Lutheran Church with Rev. Norm Sulaica officiating. Burial will follow at Three Rivers Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Eugene Woelfel, Warren Woelfel, Gordon Goebel, Quintus Woelfel, Gregg Goebel and Jeffrey Goebel.
