Cathy Park

Cathy Park, 69, passed away peacefully in Austin, Texas, on January 9, 2019.

She was born April 28, 1949, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to A.H. "Isaac" and Isabel Habib.

Cathy was a Kindergarten teacher at Skidmore-Tynan Elementary for more than 20 years and loved her students and coworkers. She enjoyed Christmastime and watching sports, but most of all cherished the time spent with her children, grandchildren and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Andy (Mickie), Jimmy (Billie), Anthony (Pat) and Richard; and sister, Theresa Habib.

She is survived by her children, Matt Park, Lindsey (Jason) Harlor and Jeff (Janelle) Park; grandchildren, Jaden and Jaycee Park and Annabel and Noa Harlor; brother, Sammy (Doris); sister, Lorraine Mason; sister-in-law, Elaine Habib; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be celebrated at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Beeville, Texas, at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 9, 2019, with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore, Texas.
