Carl “Larry” Lee, 80, of Beeville, Texas, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2026.
Larry was born on October 31, 1945, to Mary Evelyn Lee and Carl Newton Lee. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who dedicated his life to his Lord, his country and his family. He was known as one of the most patient, kind and faithful men you could ever know. Larry was a devoted family man who cherished the time he spent with those he loved and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Larry proudly served his country as a United States Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was honored to have served his country and carried that pride with him throughout his life. Following his military service, Larry worked as a telephone line man for Southwestern Bell and AT&T, where he dedicated many years of his career.
His faith was an important part of his life. Larry was a dedicated member and Deacon of Cadiz Baptist Church, where he faithfully served for 35 years. His love for his church and his devotion to his faith were evident in the way he lived his life and cared for others.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Newton Lee and Mary Evelyn Lee; and his beloved wife whom will always be the love of his life, Linda Lynelle Lee.
He is survived by his daughters, Amy Blevins of Victoria, Texas and Imelda Sue Leonard of Beeville, Texas; his grandchildren, Kacey and Robert Perkins of Leander, Texas, Brittany and David Patrick of Victoria, Texas, and Faith Lynelle Leonard of Beeville, Texas; his great-grandchild, Robert Kalvin Perkins; his brother, Richard Alden Lee of New Mexico; and his sister, Elena Gail Ptak of New Mexico; along with numerous nieces and nephews that cherished him dearly.
Services will be held at VA Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas, at a later date.
