Breymann Buerger

Breymann "Tut" Buerger, 87, of Skidmore, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2018.
Mr. Buerger was born Aug. 29, 1931, in Houston to Hughes Lee and Mary Elizabeth (Owens) Buerger. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He married Roberta Dee Harlan in Sinton on Jan. 4, 1954. He was in the farming and ranching industry and was a member of Skidmore United Methodist Church.
He loved being with his family, his church and grandchildren. He never owned a cell phone nor a Facebook or Twitter account. He was proud of that.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Elizabeth Stubenthal Buerger; three brothers, Bobby, Hughes and Little T.C. Buerger; a sister, Mary Jean Witten; and a daughter, Carol Ann "Bootsie" Buerger.
Survivors include his wife, Roberta Dee Buerger of Skidmore; a daughter, Cindy (Jerry) Sherrod of New Braunfels; a son, John Scott (Flora) Buerger of Port Aransas; two sisters, Annie Kunetka of Temple and Edith Lou "Potsy" (Hank) Gotard of North Carolina; two grandsons, Harris Court Buerger and Alan Thomas Buerger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
