Bonnie Lynn Stubbs, loving mother and grandmother, devoted sister and a beloved friend passed away peacefully in her home in Mathis on Lake Corpus Christi Friday night surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Bonnie was a beautiful woman with an exuberant personality. Born in Ackerly, Texas in 1933, and moved to Corpus Christi when she was a teenager where she met the love of her life, Jack Stubbs. They married in 1956, and moved to Portland Texas where they raised their three children. Bonnie and Jack retired 1990, and moved to Mathis Texas on Lake Corpus Christi.

Bonnie loved meeting people and after her decades of service at the Astor Restaurant she made many lifelong friends.

Survivors include daughter, Jacquelyn Foreman and son in law, Daniel Foreman; son, Tyrone Stubbs; brother, Roy Myles and sister in law, Minnie Myles; sisters, Phyllis Dawson and Jackie Pate; and grandchildren, Danielle and River Foreman.

Preceded in death by her husband, Jack Stubbs; son, Gary Stubbs; Father Charles Myles; Mother Lucille Layne.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at Brush Country Cowboy Church, 1417 South Hwy 37 Access Rd. in George West, Texas.
