Betty Beasley Davenport died in her sleep on January 4, 2018, at her home in Little Rock, Arkansas. Through her father's guidance she learned to fish, boat and hunt on the Texas gulf coast. She was also an inventor, photographer, pilot, carpenter, golfer and the number three bass fisherwoman in Arkansas. She was a warm and loving mamma and she adored her husband, John Davenport.
Betty grieved the loss of her husband John, her daughter Debbie Abernathy Lasiter and her grandson Ric Abernathy.
She is survived by three of her four daughters, Diane Davenport Wilder (Porter Briggs), Daphne Davenport (Ramser) and Dee Davenport (Ball) (Bruce Borgersen); beloved grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Kowalik; and much-loved nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be in Beeville, Texas on Friday, January 12th at 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church at 908 N. Washington Street.
