Barbara Phillips

Barbara (Sheeran) Phillips, 83, of Meadows Place, Texas, entered eternal rest Tuesday, October 16, 2018.
Mrs. Phillips was born Nov. 26, 1934 in Luling to Hugh Anthony and Josephine (Dockery) Sheeran. She was a substitute teacher at Beeville and Skidmore-Tynan Independent School Districts and was a Catholic. She was a member of the Optimist Club, Girl Scouts and an Avon representative for 45 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her first husband, Robert L. Phillips Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Charles David White of Meadows Place; children, Cindi (Larry) Eissler and Sean Phillips, both of Meadows Place, Patrick Phillips of Acampo, California and Doris (Johnny) Garcia of Beeville; a brother, Charles (Edna) Sheeran of Victoria; grandchildren, Amy Eissler-Lovel (Scott), Erica Eissler-Heacox (Brad), Phillip Nathan (Michelle) Garcia, Marcos Garcia, Jonathan Keith (Ashley) Garcia and Juan Garcia; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Phillips Family Cemetery located at 3578 Hwy. 202 in Beeville.
Pallbearers will be Paul Sheeran, James Sheeran, Jonathan Garcia, Nathan Garcia, Marcos Garcia and Edward Anaya.
