Annie Geffert

Annie (Bodden) Geffert, 88, of George West, died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017.

Mrs. Geffert was born June 30, 1929, in Live Oak County to Benjamin and Amelia (Richter) Bodden. She married August Geffert Jr. on March 22, 1946, in George West and was a homemaker and a Christian. She helped her husband with ranching.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Daniel Bodden; sister, Katherine Brandt; and a daughter-in-law, Brenda K. Geffert.

Survivors include a daughter, Diane (Harold) Underdown of George West; a son, Wayne Geffert of George West; a brother, Louis Bodden of Lovelady; and one grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel in George West.

The funeral service will be conducted at Brush Country Cowboy Church Saturday, Dec. 9, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Pat Traxler officiating. Burial will follow at George West Cemetery.
