Ann Ford

Ann Garrison Ford, age 92, went to be with our Lord on April 13, 2018. She was born in Covington, Virginia. She was the only child of Elmo Garrison and Alice Poe Garrison. She was an honor graduate of Covington High School in 1942. After attending James Madison University where she was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority. She moved to San Antonio, there she met her soulmate and beloved husband, Charles M. Ford. They were married December 19, 1969, and shared 35 wonderful years raising cattle, horses and dogs. Charlie preceded her in death on September 15, 2004. Ann was office manager and bookkeeper for Beeville Country Club for 22 years before retiring in 1998. She was a member of Grace Covenant Church of Beeville and a life-long Presbyterian.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Ballard of Beeville; niece Cora Ann Kuenstler and husband, Calvin of Beeville; nephews, Ross Ballard, Robert Ford and wife, Meg, Glenn Ford and wife, Linda all of Beeville; and numerous cousins in Virginia.
Visitation will be held at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, April 15, 2018. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2018, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Yoakum, Texas.
