Amparo (Amy) A. Reyes

Amparo “Amy” (Alaniz) Reyes, 92, of George West, Texas, passed away January 8, 2025, at Live Oak Nursing Center.

Amy was born in San Diego, Texas on December 10, 1932, to Jose Maria Alaniz and Patricia Garcia. She married Louis Reyes on February 14, 1954, in George West, Texas. She attended high school in San Diego, Texas, and furthered her education earning an LVN degree.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Maria Alaniz and Patricia Garcia; stepmother, Maria Serna Alaniz; her husband, Louis Reyes on July 5, 1998; a son, Jose Louis Reyes; and a daughter, Patricia Pavero.

Left behind to cherish fond memories include her daughter, Marisella Reyes Perez; grandchildren, Danielle Cardenas, Daniel J. Perez, Ralph Vasquez and Amber Vazquez; and great-grandchildren, Madelyn and Gianna Cardenas and Gabriel Morales.

Our sweet beloved Momo has gained her precious angel wings, and you are now in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Your memories are now restored, and you are reunited with loved ones you had been searching for, unaware of their fate. We long for one more day to spend with you, our silly willy Momo as we did before things changed. Watch over us from above and remain with us in spirit. We will always love and miss you! Rest in heavenly peace, forever in our hearts.
