Alba Brown

Alba Alene Brown, 77, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on November 3, 2016. Mrs. Brown was born on March 18, 1939, to Jesse James and Elizabeth Ann (Baker) McCulley in Alba, Texas. She married James Edward Brown on November 7, 1952, in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was a member of Apostolic Tabernacle Church. She and her husband, James owned and operated Brown Septic Service in Corpus Christi. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Richard Brown; daughter, Sherry Brown; great grandson, Justin Ward; two brothers; and two sisters. Survivors include her daughters, Libby West of George West, Texas and Dena Myers (Dan) of George West, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 4 nephews and 8 nieces. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Apostolic Tabernacle Church, 5358 W. Riverview Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas 78380, with Brother Joe Lake officiating.
