Abelina (Tanguma) Moya

Abelina (Tanguma) Moya, 85, passed away at her residence in Three Rivers surrounded by her loving family Friday, February 20, 2026. Abelina was born November 17, 1940, in Rockdale, Texas, to Narciso and Consuelo (Flores) Tanguma.

Abelina married the love of her life Erasmo Moya Jr. in July of 1961 in Three Rivers, Tx. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Abelina had a passion for gardening and fishing and lived a happy and simple life. She enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas with her husband, as well as traveling to Arizona to visit her sister.

Abelina was preceded in death by her parents; two son Erasmo Ruben Moya, and Raul Moya; three brothers; and one sister.

Abelina is survived by her husband of 64 years, Erasmo Moya Jr.; three sons, Richard (Irene) Moya, Roger (Erika) Moya, and Roy (Benjie) Moya; daughter in law, Maria Guadalupe Moya; one brother, Erasmo (Juanita) Tanguma; one sister, Consuelo Martinez; eleven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great - great grandchild; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, February 26, at Galloway and Sons Chapel in Three Rivers followed by a prayer service at 7 o’clock.

The funeral service will be conducted there at 10 a.m. Friday, February 27, with Pastor Debra Cantu officiating. Burial will follow in the Three Rivers Cemetery

Pallbearers will be Roy Moya, Roger Moya, Cory Moya, RJ Moya, Joshua Moya, Ivan Moya, Zacharias Moya, and Gilbert Aguirre.
