Joseph Justin Dean Latham, 37, of George West, died on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. Mr. Latham was born May 17, 1980, in Alice to Lynda (Huerta) and David Carl Latham. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Three Rivers and was an active member of the Methodist Men’s Group, Methodist Youth Group and Emmaus Group.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Carl Latham; and grandmother, Mildred Latham.
Survivors include his wife, Crystal LaRue Valadez of George West; a daughter, Zowee Latham; a son, Kole Dean Latham; step-children, Dylan, Jaylah and Ryan Valadez; mother, Lynda Maples of Three Rivers; sisters, Pamela (Rudy) Galindo and Kimber (Remy) Mendez both of George West; brothers, Bubba (Elda) Latham of Poteet and Michael (Wendi) Coleman of New York; and grandfather, Floyd C. Latham of Tilden. Visitation will be held from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 9, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home chapel in Three Rivers. The funeral service will be conducted there that morning at 10:30 with Rev. Adrienne Zermeno officiating.
