Ella Louise (Chambless) Anderson, 90, of Cuero, Texas, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019.

Ella was born March 13, 1929, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Arthur James Chambless and Wilma Ruth (Smith) Chambless. She married Alvie Lewis Anderson in Corpus Christi on Nov. 27, 1948. She was a homemaker, member of the Baptist faith and enjoyed old country and gospel music and playing Yahtzee and puzzles.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sisters, two brothers, a daughter-in-law and great-granddaughter.

She is survived by two daughters, Toi (Buck) Rangnow of Cuero and Marlene Vasquez of Dallas; four sons, Joe Anderson of Corpus Christi, Arthur “Rusty” (Wanda “Brent”) Anderson of Beeville, Otis (Renee) Anderson of Minnesota and Harold Anderson of Goliad; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2019, at Galloway & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Beeville, Texas.

A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Beeville Memorial Park with Pastor Mike Whitfield officiating.

Pallbearers will be Ben Vasquez, Jacob Vasquez, Chad Anderson, Cody Rangnow, Jarrod Christmas and Scott Hawkins.

Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Anderson, Seth Vasquez, Austin Christmas, Shawn Anderson and James Anderson.
