She was born November 26, 1935 in Beeville to Chester and Evelyn Decoux

to her children of the friends that she had made there and their grand adventures amongst the “traveling trees” and riding a sucker pump like a “see-saw”. She was always quick to point out that when the sucker pump incident was discovered “Daddy paddled me right then and there! ”
She attended Lamar High School in Houston and graduated in 1953. She then
enrolled in Secretarial College where she excelled at the skills necessary to an
Executive Secretary, a career she would follow into retirement.
Annette started her family in Beeville, moving in 1971 with her husband and three children to San Diego, California where she continued to raise her family until moving back to Beeville in 1988 to retire and be closer to her parents.
Annette made and kept life-long friends wherever she went, a rare and wonderful thing. She was a kind and generous person. She was a fearless mother, grandmother, great grandmother and loving daughter.
She will be greatly missed.
